AIVory Architect for Jira

AIVory Architect for Jira brings the visual infrastructure designer into your Jira site. It opens under Jira > Apps > AIVory Architect as its own page: the design list, the canvas, generated Terraform, the credential vault, Plan, Approve and Apply pipelines with a live run log, and a read-only Kubernetes view. It follows your Jira theme, light and dark.

Install

  1. Open the Atlassian Marketplace listing AIVory Architect for Jira (link follows the Marketplace approval) or search for “AIVory Architect” under Jira > Apps > Explore more apps
  2. Click Try it free. A Jira site admin confirms the install
  3. Open Jira > Apps > AIVory Architect
Note The app is a global page in Jira. It does not add a panel to issues. To link a design from a ticket, paste the design’s URL from the web app.

First run

The first open creates an AIVory organization for your Jira site and seeds it with a sandbox design and a sample web application, so the canvas is not empty.

  • Start here: three steps with done marks (open a design, generate Terraform, add a credential)
  • New from template: five templates, including a sandbox stack (six nodes that deploy at no cost) and a Hetzner stack
  • Designs: the list of every design in the organization, with the name as the link

Your AIVory organization

The Jira site links to one AIVory organization. Everyone who opens the app on the site works in that organization.

  • To connect the site to an organization you already use in the web app, open Account on the app page and follow Connect. The web app shows the link under Billing > Marketplace, where it can be disconnected again
  • The same designs then open at app.aivory.net/architect and in the JetBrains, VS Code, Cursor and Antigravity plugins

Trial, seats and billing

  • The trial runs 30 days. Atlassian lets a site admin extend it under Manage apps
  • The price is $19 per user per month. Annual billing costs ten months
  • Atlassian bills the subscription with the rest of your Jira apps. There is no separate AIVory invoice, and the Jira seats do not count against a Stripe or cloud marketplace plan
  • Seats follow Atlassian’s app user count for the site

The designer inside Jira

The page runs the same designer as the web app:

  • Canvas: drag VMs, databases, load balancers, storage and GPU nodes, connect them, set properties. Rename with the breadcrumb, save with Ctrl+S
  • Terraform: the generated main.tf, variables.tf and outputs.tf next to the canvas. The code belongs to you
  • Vault: credentials for AWS, Azure, GCP, Hetzner, Cloudflare, RunPod and DeepInfra. A read returns a masked tail, never a value
  • Deploy: Plan, then Approve, then Apply, with the run log streamed live. Plan stops at a review gate and never changes a resource by itself
  • Infrastructure: drift and state checks, and the activity log with CSV and JSON exports
  • Kubernetes: with a kubeconfig in the vault, a read-only view of namespaces, resources, describe, logs and top
Note Try the sandbox stack first. Its six nodes deploy as local records, so Plan, Approve, Apply and destroy cost nothing and touch no cloud account.

Data and privacy

The app runs inside a Jira iframe and talks to the AIVory backend at app.aivory.net.

  • Leaves Jira: the site URL, your display name and your Atlassian account id, so the backend can find your organization and seat
  • Stored by AIVory (Germany, EU): designs, generated Terraform, run logs, deployment state, and vault secrets, which are encrypted at rest with a key held outside the database
  • Never read: Jira issues, projects, comments or the user directory. The app requests no Jira REST scope
  • Details: Security and data and the privacy policy

Uninstall

A site admin removes the app under Jira > Manage apps.

  1. The subscription ends with Atlassian’s billing rules
  2. The licence in AIVory is cancelled at once
  3. The organization’s designs and runs stay, so a reinstall finds them again
  4. To delete them, mail [email protected] from the site admin’s address. Deletion completes within 30 days
